Join us at Miller Mud Ceramics for Sunday Slow Clay, a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery experience where you’ll create a beautiful handmade Berry Bowl & Matching Drip Tray from stoneware clay. Two weeks later, you’ll return to glaze your piece with your choice of beautiful colors before it’s professionally fired and ready to enjoy for years to come.
Whether you’re looking for a unique date, a girls’ afternoon, quality family time, or simply a creative escape, this workshop is designed to help you slow down, unplug, and discover the joy of making something with your own hands.

Workshop Schedule
Part One – Create
Sunday, August 9
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Learn the fundamentals of hand-building while creating your own Berry Bowl & Matching Drip Tray. You’ll explore shaping, texture, finishing techniques, and personalizing your work before your pieces are dried and bisque fired.
Part Two – Glaze
Sunday, August 23
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Return to the studio to glaze your pottery using a curated selection of beautiful food-safe glazes. Learn simple glazing techniques while making your piece uniquely yours before its final kiln firing.
Pickup
Your finished pottery will be ready for pickup approximately 7–10 days after the glaze firing.
You’ll receive an email when your pottery is ready to be picked up.

Class Size
To ensure everyone receives personal instruction, this workshop is limited to 10 participants.
Advanced registration is required.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the preparation and firing schedule, cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another participant with advance notice.
